Lost Industry Brewing Co. Zeste De Poivre (7%)

Part of Lost Industry’s Saison Series, Zeste De Poivre has been brewed with lemon and black pepper.
It’s an absolute delight as well, pouring a pale gold and smelling of spiced orchard fruit.
The yeast here plays a big part, it’s the chewy meaty, fusty farmyard heart of the beer that everything else swims around.
The malts are soft brioche, toffee popcorn and honey, and the hops are all fresh green herbal leaves and pithy hedgerow, while the lemon adds a super zap of citrus zest and the black pepper pops up in the finish with a subtle smack of woody heat.
Lost Industry continue to impress.
