A nut brown Ale brewed with chestnut flour, this is a really good little beer.
It pours a deep mahogany brown and smells of chocolate and roast nuts, and as you take a swig you find a big round chewy toffee, digestive biscuit and peanut brittle malt body that is made rounder and warmer by the addition of the meaty and woody chestnut flour.
The hops add a load of pithy green sapling wood, hazel leaves and a little dandelion and burdock that adds some much needed bitterness to the brown sugar finish.
