Strong Blonde Ale?
More like mental Blonde Ale.
Fred In London has been brewed in Collaboration with Hair Of The Dog and in honour of The American Beer Writer Fred Eckhart, and it’s an enormous boozy rush.
This is a very sweet beer, a boozy, brown sugar driven rush of Belgian waffles, salted caramel pretzels, honey and shortcake malts and brittle, dry as a bone hazel leaf, hedgerow, chamomile tea and lemon curd hops that is all pushed along by the weight of the booze and the addition of Muscavado sugar to the brew.
It’s a head swimmingly fun beer that you’ll want to take your time over.
