Art Brew’s AB6 is a double dry hopped Pale Ale.
The bottle doesn’t tell me which hops have been used and I’m not going to try and guess.
Instead I’ll simply tell you that this light golden beer with its light fluffy head has a rich and round shortcake and honey malt that creates a super backbone onto which the hops, whatever they are, cling.
There’s freshly picked steely garden herbs, mown lawns, nettle tea, sherbet lemons, lime zest and just a hint of Seville orange marmalade.
All this makes for a super sharp and crisp beer with an incredibly long dry bitter finish.
