Crafty Devil Brewing Co. Tax Man (8.5%)

This here is a decent Double IPA packed with everything you could want from the style.
It pours a peachy gold with a fluffy head and has a big damp aroma of resinous redwoods, pine needles and dewy hedgerows.
That gloopy resin continues into the flavour, glueing the beer to you and sticking everything together, the chewy caramel and bagel, honey and biscuits of the malts creating a solid base while the great big hop hit smacks you with marmalade and nettles, rolling tobacco, lemon sherbet and steely herbal leaves all niftily bound by that thick satisfying woody glob.
