Fancy some liquidised Daim bar, peanut butter and bitter chocolate?
You do?
Then look no further than North’s collaboration with Basqueland Brewing Project where the addition of brown sugar adds a warm round sweetness to the background of the beer while the malts give you a big fat sloppy kiss that’s laden with coffee and dark chocolate, honey biscuits, dandelion and burdock, cola, charcoal and prunes.
It’s all sticky and thick, rich and satisfying, and there’s just a swish of herbal greenery and tamarind from the hops to liven up the finish, adding a splash of brightness to the treacle chewy sweetness.
Liquidised Daim Bar?
Oh go on then.
