Cross Borders Brewing Co. Braw (5.2%)

This is a very pleasant Pale Ale, a session beer for a summer evening.
It’s a pale gold with a frothy little head and it smells of strawberries and peaches and a hint of pineapple.
That pineapple is bigger in the flavour, it’s juicy and round and it washes over your tongue bringing with it some bitter herbal leaves and mown lawns, lemon rind and a nettle tea from the hops while the malting is a super soft and subtle yet round and warm caramel biscuit, runny honey and doughnut delight.
Put all this together with a finish that’s sharp, bitter and dry and you’ve a super beer to spend an evening with.
