Yet another beer that I was so sure I’d already tried and written about I didn’t check before I opened it.
This left me with a decision.
Do I just drink it or do I scribble some words.
The choice was made for me with my first mouthful as I just have to tell you how super this beer is.
That is as long as you don’t mind having your face twisted into a twisty thing, your tongue pummelled with juicy bitter Sorachi hops.
There’s sherbet lemons and lime leaves, steely herbs and a splash of mango just to take the edge off.
You do get a solid caramel and bran flake malt that gently kisses away the joyous pain of the hops.
But they’re not gone for long, leading you to an eye wateringly long finish.
