Brew By Numbers 01|03 (5%)

When I saw this I was really excited, a Cucumber and Juniper Saison sounded lovely.
And it doesn’t disappoint.
This is a crisp, clear, knife sharp beer that pours a slightly hazy pale straw with a wispy little head and has a smell full of fresh green salad leaves with a hint of spice.
The malting is super soft and smooth all runny caramel doughnuts, honey and waffles, while the hops add a prickle of bracken and nettles, buoyed up by the earthy fug of the Saison yeast.
But it’s the Juniper and cucumber that make this beer extra special.
That gin clear metallic snap of the Juniper and the surprisingly juicy fresh green flavours of the cucumber make the finish of this beer delightfully refreshing.
