Burnt Mill Brewing Co. Enigmatic Galaxies (8.4%)

Brewed in collaboration with Track Brewing, this is an Enigma and Galaxy powered Double IPA that doesn’t put a foot wrong.
Slinking from its can a cloudy peach with a fuzzy fizzing head of fun, the aroma is a melon, avocado and lime salad, sweet meaty and fresh.
There’s a solid sweet and sticky malt at play that brings smooth creamy toffee, crunchy dry shortcake biscuits, brown sugar syrup and ring doughnuts, and then those hops do what they do, banging away at you with chunks of lime and mango, bitter pithy hazel leaves and a dab of sticky orange marmalade all wrapped in rolling tobacco.
And with a gently warming boozy heat pushing everything along, this is a very fine beer indeed.
