Five Points Brewing Co. Birthday IPA (6.7%)

Happy Birthday Five Points.
I like your beer.
And this IPA is very drinkable.
It has been brewed as a collaboration with Northern Monk and it ticks all the right boxes.
There’s nothing extravagant here, nothing shocking or out of the ordinary, just a straight forward and well made IPA that you’d be happy to quaff all evening at a birthday party.
There’s a good spun sugar and honey, shortcake and brioche malt and a lemonade and mown lawn, mango and peach hop hit.
It’s sharp and bright with a sweet little body and everything ends in a dry bitter finish.
Very good.
