Hard Rollin’ is an oat heavy, lactose fuelled IPA brewed in collaboration with Dry & Bitter.
It’s also very nice indeed, pouring a bright peachy gold and smelling like a fresh fruit salad.
The malting, including lots of rolled and malted oats, is soft and creamy, with shortcake and runny honey, caramel wafers and Rich Tea biscuits, while the lactose sits creamy and vanilla tinged in the background, making the beer round and smooth.
The hops, Ekuanot, Hallertau Blanc And Mandarina, bring big splashes of orange juice and lime zest, lemon rind, garden herbs and lightly spiced tea.
It’s all bold and bright and sharp, and it leads you to the crisp bitter finish.
