With its chewy caramel malt body, Wander Beyond’s Session IPA does everything right.
It pours a rather rich copper and smells of fruity sweets and maybe a hint of peach.
And while the hops are big and bright and bold, all sherbet lemons and herbal hedgerow, zesty lime skins and mown lawns, it’s that rind malty body that makes this beer for me.
The spun sugar and honey, toffee pancakes and brioche mike the beer feel full and round and fun.
Good stuff.
