Black Market Brewing Co. Enemy Within (7%)

One of my favourite modern history/social commentary books, “The Enemy Within,” contains no Passion Fruit but masses of Passion.
Black Market’s Enemy Within, on the other hand is packed with Passion Fruit and brewed with passion.
It’s a big fruity beer that balances the spun sugar of the malting with a a shed load of hops and a heck of a lot of fruit.
You find Passion Fruit up your nose as well as down your throat, it’s fresh and ripe and juicy, and it’s set off by the sharp shards of zesty zingy lemon rind and grapefruit, steely basil and pithy woody hazel of the hops, and brought under control by the sweet honey and toffee popcorn of the sticky malting.
As The Enemy Within is one of my favourite books, so Black Market’s Enemy Within could easily become one of my favourite fruit beers.
