Brick Brewery Kerala Stout (5.7%)

Oh, I could drink this into oblivion, Kerala is a spiced Stout using curry leaves, chilli, cardamom, cinnamon and cumin in the most delightful way.
The aroma is spiced hot chocolate and the beer pours a deep mahogany with a creamy cappuccino head.
There’s a thick treacle tart and honey, shortcake and doughnut malt, with coffee and dark bitter chocolate sweeping around the edges, and a hit of green herbal hops, and then there’s all those extra bits that bring an earthy sweetness, a red chilli heat and the satisfying warmth of a well made curry, all of which is balanced by the creamy vanilla tinged toasted coconut of the finish.
Beautifully packaged, Brick are getting better and better.
