Imperial Red India Pale Ale.
Five delicious words to describe an absolutely delicious beer.
Redankulous pours a deep conker brown with a little creamy head and smells of toffee and woodworking classes.
The malting is thick and sticky, glueing itself to your face with treacle tart and honey, flaky pastry and doughnuts, while the hops – Chinook, Mosaic and Simcoe – hit you with lip witheringly dry and resinous pine and redwood bark, rolling tobacco, green herbal leaves and lemon zest.
And all the while the boozy warmth of the alcohol makes everything feel round and fuzzy, thick and chewy.
Redankulous is ridiculously good.
