LOKA POLLY Ekuanot Waimea Pale Ale (4.8%)

More greatness from LOKA POLLY, I’m running out of things to say about them.
Quickly establishing themselves as one of the best breweries for Pales And IPAs, I’d love to see what they can do with darker malts.
While I wait for that day, here’s another terrific pale ale, this time using Ekuanot and Waimea hops for lots of herbal leaf and satsuma, lime zest, chive, dandelion and rolling tobacco action.
The malting is soft and supple, with caramel and honey, waffles and rich tea biscuits from the malts.
But most importantly, as it has been with every LOKA POLLY beer I’ve tried, it’s the balance that raises this beer above so many others.
