Wander Beyond Brewing Quiet After The Storm (7%)

The label of my can has been put on upside down.
I find that weirdly pleasing.
I can’t explain why, I just do.
I find the beer pleasing as well.
Not weirdly, just pleasing.
Quiet After The Storm is a Breakfast Stout that’s full of the creamy vanilla rich thickness that only lactose can bring.
It’s an ice cream Sunday of a breakfast and makes the coffee flavours rounder and softer.
There’s pumpkin too, fleshy and satisfying, a little bit earthy yet sweet and filling.
Add to that some chocolate brioche, treacle tart and rum and raisin chocolate and you’ve a great big pudding of a beer that you can take your time to sink into.
