Harbour Brewing Co. Wee Heavy (7%)

This is a collaboration with Dark Star and it’s decent enough, if not very exciting.
There’s a lot of rum and raisin chocolate, some digestive biscuits and a blob of honey from the malts.
It’s sweet, sticky and very chewy and the hops are a brittle aside, adding only a hint of herbal greenery and some liquorice and aniseed to the edges of the beer.
And that’s about your lot.
This is an easy drinking if rather unmemorable little bottle of beer.
