When I read the words Imperial Peanut Butter Stout I was already sold, and taking a swig I’m falling in love.
Mother Earth’s Sin Tax is a beer to slump in to, a beer to sip slowly and rejoice in.
The aroma is Daim bars, pure and simple, toffee brittle and peanut butter, it’s a rich round and inviting smell and it drags you down into the chocolate fudge and black coffee of the malts, the sticky brown sugar syrup sweetness that forms the body of this beer, over which there are some much needed stinging nettle hop greenery before the roasted peanut richness and the buttery creaminess kicks in to make you wish this beer was served in a bigger can.
Absolutely superb.
