A Belgian yeast driven IPA packed with blood orange, mango, coriander, ginger, lime, black pepper and red beer juice, this is a massively dry and bitter delight.
The pithiness of the citrus fruit shines through making the beer lip witheringly dry, while the ginger and pepper are far more subtle, creating a spicy warmth in the background.
I’m not sure what the beetroot juice is doing, but it doesn’t do anything bad so I’m happy to ignore it while I enjoy the caramel coated doughnuts of the malts and the hops bringing lemon curd and kiwi fruit.
In the finish there’s that deep earthy yeast to warm all the sharp bright bitterness.
Super.
