I wasn’t expecting too much from this, but Cloudwater have managed to squeeze just enough of a light caramel and wafer body from the malts to hold up against the big bright Chinook hops that are at once woody and leafy, zingy and zesty, with grapefruit and mandarin, herbal garden leaves and pencil shavings.
Easily the best low alcohol beer I’ve had in some time.
