Gipsy Hill Brewing Co. Farmhand (5.7%)

It’s been raining all morning and just what I need is a round warming Rye Saison, and Farmhand doesn’t disappoint.
Pouring a bright amber, the aroma is rich and earthy, with honey pecans.
The malting follows suit with a gooey toffee popcorn and pecan pie stickiness that’s made deeper and richer by the wonderfully meaty rye.
The hops pop and snap over the top with pithy autumnal hedgerow, all shades of red, green and orange, a lick of nettle tea and a twist of lemon, while the yeast brings a warm sweet farmyard fruitiness to the finish.
Lovely stuff.
