Don’t you just love Marcus Reed‘s art on the Gipsy Hill cans?
I do.
I love the idea of using various members of staff, associates and friends as cover stars and I really really love the style that makes all the cans feel the same while looking different.
It’s a very clever bit of graphic design and I could look at it all day, the way the cans, lined up on a shelf create a little gang of people holding up signs and looking back at me.
But we’re here for the beer, and this one is a super little American IPA that’s crisp and clean, fresh and sexy.
There’s a solid sweet caramel drizzled doughnut and shortcake malt and a fresh fruity sweet shop aroma as you pour.
Meanwhile the hops are pin sharp and crystal clear, with mango and passion fruit, lime leaves, lemon sherbet and a dab of sticky orange marmalade, they lead you to the long dry finish.
This is lovely stuff.
