Gipsy Hill Brewing Co. Golden King (5.1%)

It’s the end of August, it’s warm outside and I’ve just returned from a walk with my youngest daughter.
What I need is some crisp clean refreshment.
And I couldn’t have chosen better as Golden King, Gipsy Hill’s Premium Pilsner, does all the things I’m after.
It’s a bright golden beer with a fuzzy little head, it has a honey coated garden flower aroma and it fizzes with life.
The malting is super smooth, with soft caramel and wafer biscuits, a little salted praline and crunchy ice cream cones, and the hops come over all green and herbal, pithy and dry, a little lemon zest and a snap of hazel leaves as you head towards the crystal clear, bitter finish.
