Jopen BV Mooie Neil IPA (6.5%)

Another terrific little IPA from the Beerwulf box, this one is straight down the line good, giving you all the things you would ask for.
The aroma is boozy penny sweets and satsumas and the beer sits a glowing gold with a big frothy head in your glass.
There’s a solid toffee biscuit, brown sugar syrup, honey and brioche malt, sweet and sticky, round and chewy, it’s edged by a little salty yeast bite, while the hops bring lemon curd and lime zest, some herbal leaves and a big dollop of tang orange marmalade that adds a gloopy sweetness to the long bitter finish.
