Being a Japanese Rice Beer, Inari Biru is smooth and creamy, light and airy.
The aroma is fresh and lemony and 5e beer glints a bright gold in my glass.
You know, this is a perfectly tasty beer that does lots of summery things, it’s a beer I could happily drink through an afternoon in a pub garden.
But without being told that this is a rice beer, I’d not have guessed the extra ingredient if you’d asked me.
Mind you, I don’t really suppose that that’s the point, is it?
The malting, which is actually barley and wheat as well as rice, is soft and sweet with bagels and honey, Shredded Wheat and caramel, and there’s a gently bitter, lemon sorbet and lime zest Hop hit that makes the finish feel dry and refreshing.
