Colossus Craft Brewery Vasco (9%)

This is a terrific Imperial Stout.
It’s so good in fact, that I could leave it at that and you’d know just what I mean.
Vasco does absolutely everything right, from its damson jam and dark chocolate aroma to its treacle tart, rum and raisin chocolate, brioche and Sherry trifle malt body, it’s a beer that does all the things you want.
There’s a crispy autumnal red leaf litter, conker, chestnut and lemon sherbet Hop as well, not to mention the frangipani and rum fuelled vanilla frosting of the finish.
Super.
