Verdant Brewing Co. Today I Will Walk In The Sun, I Will Simply Walk In The Sun (6.6%)

What a fabulous beer this is, brewed with Ekuanot and Lemondrop hops and using a London Ale yeast, “Today…” is bright and shiny and full of joy.
The aroma is big and bold with sherbet lemons and a twist of lime, and taking a big swing you find that the malts, with all their soft and chewy caramel wafer, shortcake and honey ice cream create a lovely smooth backbone over which the hops duo do their thing.
Big blasts of lemon curd and lime zest, oranges and steely herbal leaves are pushed along by the fruity earthiness of the yeast, leaving you with a long bitter and very satisfying finish.
