Brewed in collaboration with Toast, this is a Red Ale brewed with soda bread, and I for one like it a lot.
It holds a creamy head and sits a deep conker red in my glass, smelling of yeasty toffee apples.
There’s a round chewy caramel, honey and digestive biscuit malt and lots of dry and bitter stinging nettle, lime leaf and chamomile tea hops.
And all the while an airy, almost bubbly yeastiness hums along, making the finish warm and lightly spiced.
