I’ve no idea why this beer is named the way it is, it’s quite a good name as it goes, but I’m not really fussed what it’s called as this is a very good Double IPA that delivers lots of boozy joy.
It’s a very American beer with a hefty dose of barley sugar sweetness in both the smell and malt body.
There’s some biscuits as well, along with a dab of sticky honey.
A boozy alcohol warmth drifts in and brings with it mango and gooseberry, apricots and lime zest making for a long dry bitter finish.
