Ampersand Brew Co. Red Brick (5.1%)

Fancy a chewy round toffee fuelled beer with a good bitter hoppy kick in the finish?
You do?
Well look no further than this rather fine little bottle of beer from Ampersand.
Pouring a chestnut brown with a little foamy head, the beer smells of apricots and pineapple chunks.
Taking a swig you’ll find toffee apples and honey, shortcake biscuits and toffee coated puffed wheat.
Then there’s the sharp as a tack nettle tea, lemon rind, lime juice, sticky marmalade and tamarind from the hops that leaves you with a refreshingly bitter dry finish.
