Three Sheets is a rather good Scotch Ale packed with all the treacle tart, bran flakes and whisky heat that you would want from this style of beer.
Pouring a deep conked red, the smell is apples and rum and honey.
There’s a big fat round malt body full of brandy snaps and brown bread, toffee, treacle and doughnuts, and a crunchy crisp leaf litter hopping that brings some sticky orange marmalade and lots of pithy autumnal undergrowth.
In the finish the beer is sticky and sweet with the prickle of nettles underneath.
Lovely stuff.
