Brewed in collaboration with Garage Beer Co., this is a super easy drinking Double IPA.
The aroma is fresh and sweet, like honey on toast and nettle tea, sharp and rich and a little bit spicy.
It’s a very inviting aroma and taking a swig you’ll be glad you dived in.
The honey on toast continues in the malt body of the beer, joined by spun sugar and vanilla tinged ice cream cones.
You’ll be surprised by how soft the hopping is.
There are lots of nice hoppy things going on, like orange marmalade and mango flesh, peach and sherbet, but rather than the head bursting sting you might expect from a DIPA, the flavours here are round and gentle but no less enjoyable.
In the finish there’s a boozy white rum warmth that makes for a big satisfying finish.
