Campervan Brewery Wandering #4 The Hoppy Botanist (3.8%)

This is a gentle little Pale Ale brewed with rhubarb, vanilla pods and lactose.
It balances its soft malts, all waffles and doughnuts, honey and caramel, with its sharp herbal hops, giving you lemon zest and thyme, apricots and basil, while the rhubarb tastes freshly cut and mashed and the lactose and vanilla work together to make the beer taste and feel like thick smooth creamy custard.
This is a delightful and really impressive beer.
