The Duck-Rabbit Craft Brewery Brown Ale (5.9%)

Duck-Rabbit Of North Carolina call themselves, “The Dark Beer Specialists,” and this, their Brown Ale is pretty good as long as you lie your dark beers cut through with sharp bitter hops.
Pouring a chestnut brown the beer smells of toffee apples and brandy, and taking a swig that’s pretty much what you find in the heart of the beer along with a big splash of tamarind, some apple strudel and malted milk biscuits.
Then there’s this swish of bitter and dry herbal lemony hops that whips away the soft chewy body and leaves you with a steely metallic finish that puckers your lips and tightens your cheeks.
