What a nice surprise it was to find this in Tesco.
A well made, full bodied New England Pale Ale that pours a fuzzy peach and smells of freshly chopped tropical fruit salad.
There’s a soft chewy, warm and comforting honey and doughnut, bagel, caramel and brown sugar malt body, before a big smack of freshly cut pithy hedgerow leaves, oranges and lemons, lime zest, sherbet and woody tobacco from the hops that is made bigger and fruitier by creamy dreamy big bold blast of Vermont yeast.
I for one think that this is quite an adventurous beer for a supermarket given how cloudy it pours.
Great stuff.
