Neon Raptor Brewing Co. Evil Unicorns (6.3%)

In a month or two I’ll be in Sneinton Market, Nottingham, for this year’s Nottingham Craft Beer Festival.
It’s a lovely venue and the home Of Neon Raptor.
And so I’m sitting here with a fantastic can of Neon Raptor beer and wishing the days away.
Evil Unicorns is an IPA with an oat heavy malt body, creamy and smooth, with honey smothered pancakes and bread crusts, a warm earthy yeast fug and an aroma packed with fresh tropical fruit salad.
The hops – Citra, Simcoe and Wai-iti – give you lemon sherbet, woody tobacco leaves, herbal leaves and a dab of orange marmalade.
So, Evil Unicorns is big and bold and sexy and it makes me count the days until I can wander to their tap and drink as much as I can, while I wander around the old markets of Nottingham sampling good beer and hanging out with good people.
