Dead End Brew Machine After Death (7.5%)

Dead End are based in Dundee and this, their Mango & Passion Fruit Double IPA, is my first experience of their beer.
It’s a good first experience as well, pouring a thick and cloudy peach colour and smelling of freshly chopped tropical fruit.
The malting is sweet and round, caramel biscuits and honey covered bagels providing a sticky chewy base while the hops are sharp and bitter, all dandelions and nettles, herbal leaves and lemon zest.
The mango and passion fruit manage to stay the right side of sour, bringing a bright and shiny, fleshy fruitiness to the finish.
