DEYA, who I struggle to get hold of as regularly as I’d like, continue to impress with everything I manage to find and this, their “Juicy IPA in [their] house style,” is every bit as good as imagined it to be.
Pouring a thick and creamy pale gold with a sexy little wisp of a head, the aroma is a freshly chopped tropical fruit salad of delight.
There’s a light yet creamy malt body, with vanilla ice cream cones, caramel waffles and shortcake biscuits creating a sumptuous and satisfying platform on which the orange and lemon, mango, peach and fresh garden herbs work in tandem with the lightly earthy soft fruit flavours of the yeast to make the beer taste and feel like a big bright summer pudding.
Super stuff.
