Fierce Beer Kindred Kunindra (6.5%)

So this is a “Thai Coconut Porter” brewed with coconut, kaffir lime leaves, spices and cayenne.
Could go one of two ways, right?
I’m happy to tell you it goes the right way, with a solid treacle tart, honey and toasted crusty brown bread malt body making the beer feel warm and satisfying, while the hops give a little slap of stinging nettle and hazel leaf pithiness before the coconut adds a soft almost vanilla like milkiness, the lime leaves are sharp and fresh and bitter and the spices and cayenne bring a warm and earthy heat to the finish.
