Turning Point Brew Co. Dark Matter Custard (7.5%)

Oh my word, this is good.
Dark Matter Custard is a Chocolate Custard Stout that tastes of all the delicious things that those words conjure.
The beer pours a deep dark mahogany brown with a big cappuccino head and a smell heavy with dark chocolate and honeycomb.
There’s that same honeycomb when you take a swig, like a liquid Crunchie bar forming the heart of the beer.
Around this sweet sticky goodness you find milk chocolate, vanilla, foam bananas and just a little snap of hedgerow pithiness that adds a much needed slap of bitterness to the otherwise rich boozy sweetness of the finish.
