This collaboration with Pressure Drop and Polly’s is a rather fine IPA brewed with Ekuanot, Mosaic and Loral hops and, to make a lovely change, isn’t cloudy and chewy.
Instead it’s crisp and clear and clean.
And what a lovely change that makes.
However big and round and full of flavour today’s NEIPA, London Ale yeast driven beers might be, sometimes I want my beer to be pale and fresh and refreshing.
Motel Paradiso is just that.
The hops are big and bright, with lots of steely herbal leaves, lemon bonbons, fizzy flying saucer sweets, rolling tobacco and gala melon, while the malt body is soft and subtle, all caramel wafers and rich tea biscuits.
And with a finish that’s fresh and clean, bitter and dry, this is a beer I’ve been waiting to drink for quite some time.
