Glen Affric Brewery Highland Suntan (4.9%)

I can’t work out or be bothered to Google, why a brewery based in Birkenhead has not only a very Scottish name but has given this, their rather splendid Extra Pale Ale, a Scottish name to match.
I’m sure someone will tell me eventually.
So what we have here is a super light and honey sweet sticky malt body, all Ice Cream cornets and white bread crusts soaked in caramel.
Along with this there’s a sharp and fresh smack of tangerine and nettle leaves, pithy and tangy, crisp and aromatic that lead you to a lovely long and very bitter finish.
