Brewed in association with Glasgow’s West End Beer Festival, this super Hopfenweisse does all the things you expect and then adds peaches.
Lots and lots of peaches.
Pouring a thick and soupy gold with a frothy little head, the smell is honeyed peaches and apricots.
It’s a fresh and inviting aroma and it sucks you down into the creamy smooth oatcake and doughnut, toffee and pecan of the malting.
The addition of a Vermont yeast strain brings a deep and dirty, spicy fruit underbelly while the peaches are vibrant and fresh, fleshy and juicy.
And then, in the finish, a little hit of clear gin warmth rounds out the beer, pulling it back from bitterness and into a tart and refreshing peachy kiss.
