Brewed in collaboration with Kees, this Imperial Stout is heavy with maple syrup, chocolate, vanilla and lactose, and has a shovel full of smoked malt to give it a warm woody depth.
It’s a beer for the apocalypse, a beer to turn to when you hear the three minute warning.
There’s a rich toffee sweetness and a smooth creamy caramel ice cream body, rich sexy dark chocolate, the maple syrup dripping all over a brioche bun.
And as you chew your way through all that goodness the hops slap you with stinging nettles and apricot jam, all backed up by an enormous hit of brandy booze that’ll have your head swimming and your belly warmed, leaving you happily resigned to your fate in the smoky mist of the end of days.
