Yeastie Boys Melon Balls (5.1%)

Honeydew melon heaven.
That’s what this is.
Melon Balls is a Dortmunder Lager, super crisp, light and refreshing, that’s had its heart replaced by a Honeydew Melon.
Both fresh and dried Honeydew Melon has been used, and it works a treat.
All the Lager goodness is intact, with a soft and warm, smooth caramel and brioche malt body, a hint of earthy yeast, and a swish of spicy hedgerow greenery coupled with soft lemon curd and frangipani from the Huell Melon and Cashmere hops.
But it’s the way that the Honeydew melon builds as you drink, feeling fresh and chewy, like you’ve just scooped a spoonful of juicy gloopy flesh from a halved fruit.
Soft and succulent, the finish is round and satisfying, buzzing with a hint of white rum heat.
