Abbeydale Brewery Heresy (4.5%)

In Heresy, Abbeydale have made a quite stunning Lager.
It’s soft and subtle and sweet, a floral aroma giving way to a creamy caramel, honey and shortcake body.
There’s a hint of vanilla as well, along with a waft of peach fuzz edged by the yeast’s salt bite.
And then there are those Noble hops doing their noble thing, with sharp pithy greenery, lots of bright herbs and a spicy snap in the long crisp and very dry finish.
Just call me a Heretic.
