Holwing Hops Howling Pils (4.6%)

A well made Pilsner is a thing of subtle beauty, and this here beer is a thing of subtle beauty.
This is a soft and creamy Pils with a vanilla ice cream cone, brioche, honey and milk loaf malt base.
Over this the hops are sharp and green, all nettle leaves and garden herbs, a twist of lemon zest and a splash of elderflower, while the yeast adds a little spiced mushroom earthiness before you find yourself slapped awake by the superbly crisp clean and ever so dry finish.
I love a well made Pilsner.
