Salt Beer Factory Doppel Denim (7.2%)

Sweet and thick and chewy, just like a Doppelbock should be, Salt’s collaboration with Abyss Brewing is well worth checking out.
This is a Lagered beer with an enormous caramel, praline and peanut brittle malt body and an aroma packed with cherries and berries suspended in honey.
It’s a creamy and viscous beer that feels warm and satisfying right through to its hoppy punch.
Brittle nettle leaves, pithy hazel and a spoon of course cut orange marmalade bring a bitter sweet finish backed up by a boozy punch.
